Handmade flowers: a beautiful gift idea
Did you ever pick flowers for your mum when you were a kid? I know I did.
After walks to the playground, a few small daisies or clover flowers squeezed tightly in my little hands and presented proudly to my mum. But, as we all know, as beautiful as they are, live flowers don’t last forever. Especially ones crushed by small gift-giving hands.
Which is why these handmade flowers are such a great idea! Make them once, present a bunch of them to your loved one and hey presto! They’ll still look wonderful in the weeks and months ahead!
Can you imagine, how excited your mum would be if you were to create your own special bouquet of flowers for her this Mother’s Day? Or how much they’d brighten your own home without the expense of a bunch of freshly cut ones?
Step by step how to make flowers for your home
Although I have done my fair share of paper crafts, both on my own and with my kids, sewing is usually my thing. To each his (or her!) own, right?!?

Even if you think you’re no good at sewing, the bonus of the fabric flowers tutorials is, you don’t even need a sewing machine for them. Ha!
